About

The name Daniel means “God is my judge.” If it helps you then you can just see it as meaning “Don’t mess with me!” When I grew to learn the full meaning of my name, it reminded me of when Paul says, “Look people, I don’t even judge myself. My conscience is clear, but that doesn’t make me innocent. It is the LORD who judges me so how can I safely judge my heart or the kind of person I am?” (1 Corinth. 4).

I’ve learned that capital ‘L’ Love means to “unselfishly choose for the highest good of God and His kingdom.” If we are His kingdom than we MUST look and act a certain way. Our culture should have a certain feel; our faces deliver a particular attitude, and our character a certain relationship. If we are going to be people of God we must look, act, sound, smell, and live like His son who is Jesus. I don’t claim to be a professional. I’m not a rock star. I’m not an intellectual, and I will never be rich and famous (thank God). However, I do know that God really does, for some reason, use His people and loves to use them effectively.

I am a Love-slave for Jesus. I want to learn more about how to choose to be last instead of putting myself first. Jesus was simply the best at serving, and He proved it to be the best way of life; that is to do for others more than you do for yourself; to be the first to be last. My name means “Jesus is the only person good enough and smart enough to rule my life. He’s the only one who really knows me, and He is the only one qualified to be the Lord of all.” His name means Messiah, Savior, and Emmanuel. He is the whole reason I’m still here and the only explanation of my meaning. His name is Jesus. Do you know Him?
